Biggest Price Declines Richmond Homes For Sale

Blog by Arnold Shuchat | May 17th, 2013

Here is this week's list of largest price declines, i.e. those equal to or greater than 5%. There were 52 price changes this last 7 days of which 51 were price decreases. The average price decline was $40,280 but the median decline was only $20,000, the numbers being skewed by the big price declines of the higher priced product. A few of the larger price drops were in the over $3,000,000 price range. Once again, the average price decline was close to 4%. Only 17 properties made the list this week, and I suspect that the number of declines over 5 will start to shrink on a weekly basis.
