Biggest Price Declines on Homes for Sale in Vancouver

Following is a chart of the largest price declines over the last 8 days for all residential property in Vancouver East and West showing price declines equal to or greater than 5%. In all, there were 228 price changes of which all but 5 were price declines. The median price decline was 3% and the average decline equalled $41,692 or 4% (rounded).

Out of the 1557 Single family dwellings for sale, 313 or 20% are vacant!  For attached properties there are 3017 units listed for sale of which 827 are vacant, or 27.4%, trumping Richmond's numbers on vacancy rates for listed (attached) units which currently computes to 217 for SFDs or 22.1% and 314 or 25.9% for attached properties.
