Cheapest House Sale in Richmond

Blog by Arnold Shuchat | April 4th, 2013

The least expensive home sold in Richmond over the last two weeks was a 2808 Sq ft home on Blundell in the Gaden City area situated on a 5060 sq ft lot and which was built in 1991.  It sold for $680,000.  The listing started at $899,800 in April of 2011, was terminated for a year and reopened in 2013 (with a new Realtor of course) to sell only $35,000 above its 2009 purchase price of $645,000, almost enough to clear the seller's cost.  Out of 38 homes sold, the median priced sale was $968,000 for a 3 BR 1976 home on a 7012 sq ft lot in the Lackner area.

100 attached properties sold of which the median price was $408,000 for a 3 BR townhouse on Ryan Rd. in the Southarm area.
